My experience + photos

Scafell Pike offers a rewarding but physically demanding hike. Starting from Wasdale Head, heading north the route starts slowly with gradual beuatiful views. The route eventually reaches rocky terrain. The path becomes increasingly rugged as you approach the Broad Crag, requiring careful footing. Navigation was made easy by the weather, however low visibilty would make this very hard.

Route Guide

The Broad Crag and Great End route is not direct. It begins with a slow incline walking through meadows and gradually gains elevation. Eventually the terrain becomes increasingly rocky as you approach Broad Crag & Scafell Pike summit.
